Carlson Labs’ The Very Finest Fish Oil delivers a concentrated source of omega-3 fatty acids — including EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid), DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) and DPA (Docosapentaenoic Acid) — sourced from Norwegian anchovies, sardines and mackerel. Each 5 mL teaspoon serving provides 4,600 mg of Norwegian fish oil, yielding 1,600 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids in natural triglyceride form. The refreshing natural lemon flavour makes this liquid oil easy and pleasant to take daily.

DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect for heart function is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. DHA maternal intake contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus and breastfed infants.
